Some very sad news from Fieldgate Cottage

Our New Forest Pony Lacey Loo had to be put to sleep as she had suspected liver cancer

We will have fond memories

Well we have had some nice weather and it has been great to take the winter rugs off and let the ponies have some sunshine on their backs.

Gone are the days when Lacey our grey New Foret Pony was kept sparkling white under her rug. She is now a varying shades of mud and dust.

This weekend we tried out the Professional Smart Tail. What a find this is, we could not believe how much hair came out of all the ponies tails. They did not flinch and so much easier than the traditional pulling.
